Megan ImpresoHello everyone! My name is Megan Impreso, I am a Track 1 Senior, and I am from San Diego, California. I am very excited to be the 2024-2025 Secretary for SNA! Last year, I was a Legislative Co-Director and had the best year on board. SNA has opened the door to so many opportunities, and I look forward to what this year has to bring!
I have been to a variety of SNA events since my first semester at SDSU. I have participated in the mentorship program, I am a yearly bonfire attendee, and I had the privilege of attending two conventions, as well as presenting our resolution. SNA has provided me with significant assistance in navigating through nursing school as well as unlimited support and I hope to do the same for others, so don't hesitate to reach out! Looking to the future, I’m not quite sure what kind of nurse I’ll be. I did, however, always know I wanted to be one and being a part of SNA is a step closer to achieving goals I’ve had since I was a little girl. My fields of interests are all over the place and I would like to get a little taste of everything. Aside from school, I am an acai scooper, I work as a caregiver, and babysit! It does get hard to balance school, work, and life but it is totally possible. As a true San Diego local, I love all things outdoors. I enjoy going to the beach, hiking, eating at new places (noodles especially), and overall just exploring such a beautiful city, especially with friends and family. As Secretary, my responsibilities are to...
- Record the minutes of all general membership meetings.
- Keep a master calendar of all SDSU CNSA, CNSA, and NSNA activities.
- Work with the Communications Director to keep the website up to date.
- Inform Faculty Advisors of events and meetings.
- Organize and update the CNSA bulletin board and display case in Hardy Tower.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the President as necessary to assist other Board members.
