Rachel BestHi everyone, my name is Rachel Best! I am a Track 1 Senior from a small town outside of Washington, D.C.
I am so excited to be one of the 2024-2025 Legislative Co-Directors! I have been an SNA member since the end of my sophomore year and it has truly opened so many doors for me. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to an organization that has done so much! Ever since I was a little girl, I have known that I wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. From playing pretend with my friends and family when I was 6, to taking a 3-year-long CNA course when I was 15, I have slowly but surely made my way! Through all of the ups and downs of nursing school and the nursing profession itself, I have truly loved every moment of it. I am so excited to continue my journey and share the love I have for helping others in their times of need with you all! Not only am I involved in SNA, but I am also a part of a few other clubs and organizations! I am on the Recruitment Committee for Dance Marathon here at SDSU, I am the Membership Educator for my sorority for women in STEM (Alpha Omega Epsilon), and last but certainly not least, I will be a Resident Assistant for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. Looking forward to a wonderful year with every one of you! |
rachel LeeHi everyone! My name is Rachel Lee and I'm a Track 1 Senior from the Bay Area. I am honored to be serving as one of your Legislative Co-Directors alongside Rachel Best for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year! Having been an SNA member since freshman year, I have greatly benefitted from what this organization has to offer, and I'm eager to give back to the community that has helped shape my college experience.
It was always important to me that the occupation I chose prioritized the well-being of those I encountered in my day-to-day routine, and selflessness is at the heart of the nursing profession. Pursuing this career path is as challenging as it is rewarding, and I couldn't imagine a more fitting occupation. While I have yet to commit to a specialty, my primary interest lies in pediatrics. As for my on-campus involvements, I am a 206L ISA and a volunteer for the A.S. Food Pantry. Outside of school, I enjoy rock climbing, playing badminton, cooking, and binge-watching new shows. I also love musicals, Sanrio (Kuromi is my favorite), and all things sweet! You can reach us at [email protected] |
