Hello Nursing Students, Please find below directions on how to order your uniform for the School of Nursing. Typically, you need your uniform the first week of classes. ALL students will need a uniform whether you are in 202/206 in the fall or not because the White Coat Ceremony in Fall is for both tracks and uniforms are required for that (usually early October). Please read the below message in its entirety. Note that embroidered items are not exchangeable or returnable. Turn-around time from order placement is 21 days. Please do not wait until the end of summer to order.
If you have a question about what date you need your uniform, please email your instructor for the course. If you haven’t heard differently, assume it is the first week of classes.
2024 Sophomores and Transfers ACE Uniforms for SDSU School of Nursing
SDSU School of Nursing’s uniform vendor is ACE Uniforms, a local company. They have created a website for purchases and each student/faculty will be assigned a username to access the site. Incoming sophomores and transfer students, your username is your SDSU email. Established SON students may email Dr. Kristi Cullum ([email protected]) to obtain a username. This extra security will ensure that only SON students are purchasing our uniforms.
The uniform consists of an embroidered scrub top, pants, and embroidered white lab coat. Optionally, you may purchase an antimicrobial warm up jacket. Please note that whether you may wear the jacket on the floor at a clinical site is facility specific. Shoes must be white or black, leather or leather-like, and easily cleaned. A stethoscope is required and, although, you may choose the brand, Littmann is recommended. Shoes and stethoscope are not required to be purchased through Ace, but are available if you choose.
We will not be providing an on-campus fitting at this time. If you would like to try on your uniform prior to the online purchase, please go to Ace Uniforms and let the counter person know you need to try on uniform items for SDSU School of Nursing. You may place your order in the store or online.

***Please note that embroidered items are NOT returnable or exchangeable. If you did not do a store fitting and placed your order online, call the store to notify them to “pull the order prior to embroidery so you may go to the store and try it on.” Directions are also on the website.
