Community Health Director - Andrea Lapuz
Hi friends! I am a track 2 senior, and I am thrilled to be serving alongside Kia Sartip as your Community Health Director. Our role as nursing students gives us the ability to make important contributions to our SDSU and San Diego community. Together, I hope that we can increase awareness on local public health issues and provide you with more opportunities to participate in our community. It is my goal to equip you with the resources necessary to support our community through education and service. Through our committee, you can look forward to meaningful projects to alleviate our local health needs while utilizing your nursing skills! Whatever you are passionate about, there will be a spot on our committee for you. Don’t be a stranger! Feel free to contact me, and I look forward to meeting you!

Community Health Director - Kia Sartip
Heyo! My name is Kia Sartip and it is an honor for me to serve as SNA’s Community Health Co-Director alongside Andrea Lapuz. I am a Track 2 Junior originally from the East Bay Area in Northern California with the goal of eventually becoming a pediatric RN! I now want to stay in San Diego after graduating (because what’s not to love about this place?). Aside from lots of studying and schoolwork, I love to hike, go to the beach, and watch Netflix with my roomies when I have free time. As a former community health committee member, I had the opportunity to volunteer at events on and off campus and use nursing skills to give back to the community. During that time, Andrea and I discovered ideas and projects that we want to expand upon this year and would love if you joined us in improving the health of San Diegans!
